WSAA 2018 Recap: What You Missed in Scottsdale

eHopper was excited to attend the Western States Acquirer Association’s WSAA 2018 Conference. This year’s conference took place September 12-13 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Drive to New Horizons

With an aim to educate acquirers, Independent Service Organizations (ISOs) and Merchant Level Salespeople (MLSs) on many facets and critical updates in the financial services industry, WSAA  brought together business leaders, channel players and payment industry professionals from around the country. 

The 2018 conference drew 936 attendees and 125 vendors, making it the largest WSAA event to date.

Themed “Driving to New Horizons,” the conference leveraged evolving trends and emerging technologies in the ever-changing payments industry.

Bixolon

WSAA 2018 was our first chance to show-off eHopper’s integration with Bixolon thermal printers, particularly the SRP-Q300B 3″ mPOS Printer with Built-in Battery. Attendees of WSAA were able to demo the smooth sync between eHopper POS and Bixolon hardware. 

Bixolon has added the SRP-Q300B, 3″ deskop mPOS Printer with built-in battery, to its SRP-Q300 Thermal Printer Series.

Another big hit on conference floor was the eHopper All-in-One POS Terminal with Printer and Touchscreen.

This complete All-in-One POS Terminal is not only fully Compatible with eHopper POS Software, but sports a 14″ HD capacitive touch-screen with 2GB RAM and a MicroSD Slot.

Complete with an integrated 80mm receipt printer, stand, and multiple ports for optional peripherals, this integrated POS unit also supports Wifi and Bluetooth. 

Bixolon

WSAA 2018 will be our first opportunity to demonstrate eHopper’s integration with Bixolon thermal printers, particularly the SRP-Q300B 3″ mPOS Printer with Built-in Battery.
